Courts of Honor |
|
|
The Court of Honor is the focus for recognizing the achievements of the
individual Boy Scouts. Troop 49 attempts to hold four Courts of Honor each year: in
the early Fall (to recognize summer camp advancement and activities),
after Thanksgiving (to recognize continued advancement and activities
since the last Court), in early Spring (more advancement and activities),
and in late Spring (more advancement and activities, plus special
troop awards).
Eagle Scout Courts of Honor are scheduled in addition to the regular courts and generally recognize one or more Scouts who have earned the Eagle Scout rank. The exact program will vary from one Court to the next, depending on the awards being presented. Ultimately, the Court of Honor is about the Scouts, and we have included the ranks and other awards presented at a number of recent Courts in the lists below.
Warning: Some of the Courts are graphics intensive, displaying images of the awards as well as the lists of Scouts who received them. |
