Greetings from Huber
Heights and welcome to Troop 390's Web page. We are an active and
medium sized Boy Scout troop. We meet every Monday night, and schedule
activities throughout the year. Our camping activities include our Cross-over
campout to welcome new WEBELOS to the troop, participating in the Dayton
Metro park Earth Day cleanup and tree planting at Sycamore State Park, an
orienteering campout, Summer camp, rock climbing, fishing outings, junior
leadership training, our fun October camp at Sycamore State Park where we
launch model rockets, December's winter practice campout, and our annual
winter campout at a new fun place in 2009.
We are also active in the summer months...this past summer 6 of our scouts
and several leaders worked our way through the cycling merit badge . Many of
our leaders are merit badge counselors and we participate in 2 merit badge
trails each year, one in the fall and one in the spring.
If you are new to the area or just new to
scouting, please feel free to come by and check us out. We meet every Monday
night at 6:30pm, Aldersgate
