Troop Information About Troop 748 Troop 748 is a Boy Scout Troop in Fayetteville, N.C. Our Scoutmaster is Mr. Earl Faircloth, for more information, email at Enafairclo@aol.com We are chartered by Campground United Methodist Church. We reside in the Tuocs District of the Occoneechee Council. We currently have 19 scouts, hope to have more join us soon. Troop Meetings Troop 748 meets every Wednesday in the Scout Hut at Campground UMC from 6:45 PM until 8:45 PM. Troop Committee Meetings The Troop Committee meets monthly on a date set by the committee chair. They meet at Campground United Methodist Church. Additional meetings may be called as deemed necessary. Parents are encouraged to become a part of the Troop Committee. For more information email the Troop Committee Chairperson Mr. Dave Crane at DBCOWL@aol.com. Court Of Honor The Troop holds a Court of Honor each quarter of the year. The Court of Honor is a meeting that should be attended by each scout and at least on parent. Important announcements are made at the Courts of Honor as well as the distribution of Ranks, Merit Badges, and other Awards. Membership Membership in Troop 748 is open to ALL boys who have completed fifth grade and are between the ages of 11 and 18 or to those boys who are in the Cub Scout program and have successfully completed their Arrow of Light Award as a Webelos Scout.
