PAUL ANDERSON BOQUET

Paul is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Boquet.
Paul "crossed the bridge" into Boy Scouting in April 1996, after being a member of Pack 833 at Fort Necessity. He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 53, has earned a total of 52 merit badges, has served as Patrol Leader, Librarian, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader, Instructor, Den Chief, OA Troop Representative, and Assistant Junior Scoutmaster. He earned the Arrow of Light and the God and Me Award as a Cub Scout. Paul is a member of First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro.
Paul completed the Silver Stag Junior Leader Training Course in 1999. He attended the 2001 National Jamboree at Fort A. P. Hill Virginia. He is a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow, Comanche Lodge 254. He is a senior at Franklin Academy where he is a member of the Yearbook staff, Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Students, 4-H club, Student Council, Web Page Staff, and Quiz Bowl team.
Paul’s Eagle project consisted of building metal shelters over the existing picnic tables in Civitan Park, along the walking trail; and cleaning, repair, and replacement of grills for the existing barbecue pits there.
Paul completed the “Mile Swim” at summer camp at Camp T. L. James in 1997. He was awarded the “World Conservation Award” in 1999.
He has attended numerous winter and summer camps at Camp T.L. James and one summer camp at Camp Orr in Jasper, Arkansas. He regularly attends Order of the Arrow fellowships and Conclaves.
Paul has earned merit badges in Art, Astronomy, Aviation, Basketry, Camping Chemistry, Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, Coin Collecting, Collections, Communications, Computers, Crime Prevention, Dentistry, Electricity, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Science, Family Life, Finger-printing, Fire Safety, First Aid, Fish and Wildlife Management, Fishing, Forestry, Genealogy, Geology, Home Repairs, Indian Lore, Insect Study, Leatherwork, Mammal Study, Nature, Orienteering, Painting, Personal Fitness, Personal Management, Pets, Pioneering, Plant Science, Reading, Reptile and Amphibian Study, Rifle Shooting, Safety, Scholarship, Space Exploration, Stamp Collecting, Weather, Wilderness Survival, and Wood Carving.
Paul’s future goals are to attend college at ULM or LA Tech and major in Computer Science.
