Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts

Hey Cub Scouts! Try the Scout Express. Even though there may be a few hurdles along the way, it's fast, efficient, and makes things a lot easier. The first things to do to buy the ticket are the following:

• You have to have either completed 5th grade, or be 11 years old or older, or have gotten the Arrow of Light.
• Complete a Boy Scout application signed by your parent guardian.
• Find a scout troop near your home. (Please try Troop 494)
• Repeat the pledge of allegiance.
• Be able to tie a square knot

Now that you have bought the tickets, you can join a troop and get started with some adventure! That's what Boy Scouting is all about, adventure! Step into the world of Boy Scouting and you'll hike along trails, canoe across the misty lakes, and camp up under the open sky. That's the journey you signed up for. You first need to get to know about your troop. In our troop we welcome all kids who want to be Boy scouts. Before every meeting, we have a half an hour to help you to get to First Class, the most important rank to achieve when you're a new scout.
