Fall District Camporee - Klondike Style

Scouts had to demonstrate numerous scout skills; knots; fire starting; ice snapper fishing (lashing); radio-active waste removal; how high - how far; and finally a dog sled race.  All in the deep South.  Troop 292 won two-thirds of all the ribbons!

Summer Camp 2004 - Camp Thunder, Molena GA

This was the first time in a while that our troop has gone out of council for summer camp.  We had a great time at Camp Thunder of the Flint Fiver Council in Georgia.  The scouts worked on a variety of merit badges from shotgun to small boat sailing, from E Prep to basketry.  We even discovered the pleasures and pains of Poison ball.

Winter Camp 2005

This Winter Camp was held in conjunction with a couple of other troops in the area.

February Shooting Safety Campout

Certified NRA instructor and an authorized shooting range.  The scouts learned safety comes first.

Bridging and Crossover Ceremony for our newest scouts

A little dark but it was a great ceremony. 

Next Day After Bridging

The rest of the weekend was spend on basic scout skills and Tenderfoot signoffs.  The older scouts did all the training.
